Confronted with the problems of homeless children, Bill Campbell decided, some fifteen years ago, to consult with Government, politicians and bureaucrats and offer them an alternative in the provision of accommodation and care for homeless, abused and neglected children. |

In 1998 Bill, his wife Dawn, his daughter Donna and son-in-law Wayne decided they would financially underwrite the purchase of a rural property, which would provide care and accommodation to meet the needs of homeless children, as a pro-active measure in the prevention of these same children becoming the street children of the future. |

Three years later, in December 2001, the Mayor of the Shoalhaven, Greg Watson, was joined by our Patron, Barbara Holborrow, and Garry Rothwell, Director of the Property Industry Foundation, in officially opening the first farm-style cottage on the property. |
